Plaice is one of the most freely available of all the flat fish and is extremely versatile and traditional fish. 
 
Plaice is perfectly portioned for one person, available in two sizes 340-450g or 450-600g.
 
It is easily recognisable by the distinctive orange spots on the dark skin. 
 
​It has a white sweetish flesh that takes on sauces very well or can just be breaded and pan fried and the fresher the better!
